Yoga Nidra, or 'as the yogi sleeps,' brings your body and mind into a state that is neither awake nor asleep. The word Nidra comes from Sanskrit and means "sleep" or "non-consciousness." Yoga Nidra is a practice of deep relaxation that goes beyond the usual concept of relaxation. It is an ancient meditation technique in which practitioners enter a deep state of conscious relaxation, shifting their attention from the outer world to the inner one. This yogic sleep brings us into a state of deep relaxation, bordering on sleep, where our senses, intellect, and mind can completely let go and rest. In this state, we are free from the concepts of time, space, and reason. When this happens, brain activity decreases, and the body enters a healing state that refreshes the mind and clears emotional burdens from the subconscious. Combined with sound, this entire process is supported in the body and mind, providing immense benefits for those who find it difficult to let go, suffer from sleep deprivation, burnout, or even anxiety.
